  2. I am looking forward to the development of this organization.

Are you aware of CINDEA (Canadian Integrative Network for Death Education and Alternatives)? We offer information, resources and support on the whole of the pan-death process — including home funerals and alternative deathcare support (including Death Midwives). The philosophy behind home funerals and Death Midwifery is very similar to that of hospice and palliative care — and especially the Slow Medicien movement — and are, in many ways, the post-death extension of that philosophy. It is important that, as Canadians consider their EOL choices, they know that home funeral are legal and quite possible in Canada, and that there is a growing number of people trained to support families through one.
